Been a bit of a lurker on here for a while now so I figured I may as well post something up!

Bought a 182 on a night out in Newcastle on eBay after writing off my MK1 MX5. Best drunken purchase ever by the way!

Paid a little under £2000 for it and was well chuffed. Been loving every minute of it.

It's full fat, interior is in decent nick bar someone nawing at the steering wheel and the body work was in fairly good shape apart from a door ding and the typical someone pushed too hard on the bonnet.

First thing I did was to fit the classic Hekos and give it a cheeky polish.

Well winter came and I thought I'd try and do something productive.

Bought some Cooksport springs and four new trophy shocks. Forgot to take pictures of a lot of stuff as I was just too excited to get it on...

Ordered matched and ported inlets from Jamsport. They only went and sent me 172 ones! After some kerfuffle I got the right ones and gave it a full service with Royal Purple oil, OEM oil filter, OEM plugs and an ITG panel filter.

Also got the dent taken out of the door and bought some little treats like;
Silvervision bulbs
Replacement headlights (few broken lugs annoyed me greatly)
KTEC carbon splitter (yet to fit)
Scorpion RS192 decat system
New bonnet and got the front bumper painted too. Many stone chips!
New upper grill as mine was light grey
Cheeky head unit and sub...
Goodridge braided lines
New alternator as mine caught fire
Number plate bulb holder, crystal clear now!
Powerflex exhaust mounts

Not to forget the all important appointment with RS Tuning.

Loved going down there, the lads were great and did a fantastic job! wasnt massively pleased with what it pulled but hey, I can still beat my pals standard Focus ST and keep up with a DSG golf gti till over a tonne so regardless of me technically having a 172, I'm a happy chappy!

So future plans are:
Discs and pads - EBC and Ferodo
Fit the splitter
Retrimmed steering wheel
Turinis
Set of eagle F1's
3/4 number plate when I get my private plate on.
Depending on finances maybe cams
And I'm sure there will be some little goodies along the way!

Bit of progress.

Got full belts and dephaser service at DTM at the weekend. Cracking job too Andy has transformed the car!

Got my private plate on too as well as the ktec carbon splitter. Only to have a stone fly off the back of a Golf GTI a few hours after fitting and cracking the laquer. Oh well!

Cheeky side shot and one of my pals cooper too. Personally, I love it!

Hopefully I should be receiving a ktec boot mat soon!
