lowish miles for a 54reg.

what sort of figures do these make remap/ mod wise?

120~125hp with an off the shelf remap (which is fine for a deisel unlike a petrol). More than enough torque infact would have to be limited usualy to stocp the clutch from slipping 270NM or so (172 has 200 or so)

Not a bad price realy need to see how bad the damage was. You can pikc ones with a few more miles for £1k more which is abour right.

If there any engine area damage I'd be very warly the dci engine can be problem as it is.

Exhaust and indution kits don't make power unless your looking at serious tunning and custom remaps pusing the injection window so big it makes the engine smoke and even then better of changing turbo and intercooler injectoos and pump for better higher flow stuff as you'll be close to the limit of them all.

With the right money spend on them could make some serious numbers 180hp etc. But noone woul spend even that much (£3k or so)

yeh the old cat d is whats making it alot lower than what it should be, im not sure of the damage, iv asked them via email for details of the repair etc.

iirc these are 6 speed with the units from the meggys

excellent car mate good price i had one of these as a courtesy car and i could not believe how quick they were and with the torque they really fly!!! tuning potential i would believe to be very good!!!

Sadly not mate, they use the 5 speed out of the f4p petrol engined Laguna 2's. Ie, reverse is down and right without the lift selector. Well built gearbox just some can feel like the ratios are messed up. The new 1.5 dci 106bhp clio has the 6 speed box same box as the 197.

Thats a good price mate, and get a remap etc and you won't be dissapointed(sp)

Its is the same family of gearboxs that the meggy225 uses.

Cat D and for me its not really that cheap compared to an unlisted one.
