Dci Decat - Any Point?

Hi all, been trying to see if a decat on my dci 80 will do much. Thinking of having the car mapped after, but would rather not decat if it will kill my mpg...

Anyone have any ideas on how it effects MPG, and how it effects performance?

they respond pretty well mate, talking a 5hp increase minimum.

Cats are supposedly not needed on diesels and they will still go through the mot fine. I was going to do it on mine but was unsure if it would start sounding like a tractor.

decat'd mine it sounds good . and yeah they still pass mot with them. bit of a pig to get to tho

Whats the mpg like with the decat on? Does it drop?

Only drop in mpg will be from you putting your right foot down more
