DCI Mapping

Hi Guys,

a friend of mine just bought a DCI 65 and is considering getting it mapped.

Can anyone recommend a place in the Hampshire/Berkshire/Surrey area, and also advise of what gains this might make?

www.MichaelWoodfordMotorsport.com in cherstey mate, although they are mainly renaultsport specialists they also do diesel remapping as well.

You are looking at gains of about 30bhp on that particular vehicle, better economy, and a huge amount of extra torque.

Fit an intercooler before you get it mapped, you should see better gains then.

ahh i didnt know MWM did DCI's as well, that would be ideal as theyre only about 35 minutes from him!!

Seems a worthy increase for a few hundred pound!!

Only takes a couple of hours normally and Mike or Jack will run you into town for some xmas shopping or similar while you leave it there if you like.
If they do, get them to take you in the black turbo clio, its f**king awesome fun you'd never believe from going in it that its only 260bhp or so, the torque spread is really good which makes it feel much faster

The torque is where it is at, I personally would buy a dCi 80 intercooler before you get a remap. 100 intercooler are rare as hens teeth. Getting the pipework is the hard bit, but they pop up on eBay every now and again for about £70.
Expect in the region of 23bhp - 51lb/ft gains without a intercooler, but with a intercooler expect 100bhp.
