De-Activating Interior Ultrasonic s

Am getting the three beeps waaay too often...have looked at the manual but cant decipher the little diagram to disable the interior sensors.....going to the dealer is a joke.....wait three weeks no courtesy car...taxis...etc...



So who can tell me how to disable the interior sensors?

If its the same as my 182 then turn the ignition on then off twice (Might be 3 but im sure its 2 times),it should then disable to sensors.

Something to do with turning the key a few times in the ignition, was posted last week, search for hot weather and youll find the post.

turn the ing on and off twice. you then have 10secs to get out the car and lock it. ultrasonics are now off.

Youll get 4 beeps when the senors are off though !!

i got a mk2 172 currently.. dont get any beeps, but after doing the three on/offs (within 7 seconds!) then when you lock the car, the LED for the alarm (next to gear stick) will come on solidly for a while. if it doesnt, the 3 on/offs havent been registered or you took too long to get out.
