In general, better response, improved fuel consumption on normal driving, improved lower torque & upper Rpm power
Just makes the car nicer to drive daily, There are better gains on the 172 than the 182 but over all both see benefits

would a decate sounds pants on a standard 172 exhaust system? or wont u be able to tell?
In theory it should improve very mildly
the car is more expensive about fuel consumption?
Improved fuel consumption?
Wont make a difference lol
On the Yozza - make your ears bleed.
greater lower down torque! less noticable 5k kick smoother power delivery! am i right in thinking that the improved fuel consumption comes after you have had it remapped?? if not then i have something wrong haha!
Your wrong there, Torque on the car is so much different, feels a lot easier to breath and pulls a lot harder lower down
If you get a decat do you have to put it on again for MOT or will it pass regardless?
Gary
Enjoyed mine, but wasn't willing to take the risk with insurance, so it came off. Regardless of the benefits, the insurance issues make it a no-no for me.
I'm talking about fuel consumption if you read the quotes properly please
Improved fuel consumption?

Yes, I noticed this too! On a drive in 5th gear at 60 I'm getting nearly 5mpg better! Just got mine done and driving back from town I got 48mpg 5th gear at 50 for ten miles!
That's awesome lol!
Exactly my thought, insurance is void as the car is not classed as road legal.
Surely if your car has valid MOT then it is road legal?
