im about to cut my rusted cat bolts off (mk1) so need some replacement nuts and bolts, what size are they?

M8, you will need 40mm long ones, and dont forget washers

ok what about the width?

ok is that 8mm thread yeh? what about the bolt head or does that not matter?

nah just make sure u got a socket set, head should be around 12mm, i got some m8x40s on mine but am thinkin about getting some shorter ones, is a pain to change the cat with hardly any space around to get a socket etc around it

Yeah, but be careful, as 25mm is too short.

bolt head dont matter, just ask for some M8 x 40mm hex head bolts, and washers to match (ie M8 washers)
