De-cat

hello all,

ive had my 172 for about 2 weeks now, its my practical car as i have a R5GTT for the summer anyway my questions are about de-cating my 172, is it worth the hassle i.e does it make it very very noisy ( i dont want this ) and are the power gains worth the hassle of re-fiting for MOTs e.t.c

Im sorry if this has been brought up before i have searched the boards but didnt find the right info

do it , nomore smelly cat and will free up a few bhp. it wont be like stupidly loud

I had a resinator box fitted n to the de cat pipe when i had mine done and it isnt loud at all.
