De-cating a Williams

Has anyone de-cated a Williams and if so, does it improve the power by much? :evil: Is it really noisey? and how do you get on with that annual treat, the MOT? :boring:

Great now you tell me I've got to try and get a cat for Mot.

I have a friendly garage but their bringing in the new computer system MOT now so putting the cat back on is the way. One of the mechanics there says that it show pass without the cat, and that is what he and his mate did, btw he is a Renault trained mechanic. Have you ever had it tested without the cat? Any idea how much power it gives, and would a silenced cat replacement cat reduce the sound by a lot?
