dead spot at 2.5rpm

i have a 2008 clio sport 197 and it has dead spot at about 2.5 rpm in the rev range.
Does anyone know what can cause a dead spot at about 2.5rpm, and what i can do to fix this?:S

Sounds normal from what I've read about the 197's, do you have any mods?

just a decat and freeflow exahust.and a bmc flat pad air filter

I believe decat's make it much worse!

You could try and get it mapped out but I think they still appear, hopefully someone with a 197 or knowledge will be along shortly

Decat is the problem and tbh i don't think a remap can sort it but it can help slightly
