Decat Fitted

Got decat today and fitted myself i think its sort of blowing well sor of sounds like it but probs just the raspy note it makes!!

Drove it and first off noticed how it revs more freely and quicker revving then drove her in the wet and now it spins likes made and pulls slightly stronger!! might be me imagining it tho

Good mod id say will it use more fuel seems to!! lol do they sound abit like there blowing?? not really a blowing sound hard to explain!! No lights come on yet!! touch wood!!

im waiting for mine comin aswell,you say you did it yourself,have you got a ramp or ya did it some other way?did ya manage to get ya cat off in one piece? do ya think it uses more fuel cos ya got a heavy foot cos ya testing decat out?

yeh probs lol i jacked it up and put it on axle stands the lambda sensor was a c**t to get out lol

people say you will notice a diff in performance if cat is blowing on join i must say no power loss but im just not used to sound diff at mo so sounds like its blowing!!

Sounds dumb but make sure you've fitted it tight, any air leak will make a blowing noise. It is a good little mod and sounds a lot better I think.

yeh thats a point chris its lost the whistle thinking about it now you mentioned!!

and i think it could all do with a good tighten up as now its all moved around abit the sprung loaded bolts may tighten more!!
