Decat fitting

On the 182's i think it's quite straightforward. 172's it's a ballache.

having said that... on mind the cat > centre section join was a total rusty mess.

It's essentially 4 bolts. 2 at cat > mani and 2 at cat > centre section. buy all new bolts for when you re-fit including the wire gauze type gasket thingy (technical) for the cat > mani join.

The only problem i can see you coming accross is badly corroded joints and bolts.
 
you'll probably need a fitting kit or something from Ktec. Bolts will probably be no good for re-use.
182 is straight forward. 172 you can expect to bleed.
 
172 was a totally pain from what ive been told, got a garage to do mine and it took around an hour of there abouts with 1 1/2 guys doing it. 182 manifold and de-cat ftw if you can afford it :)
 
On a 182 it's dead easy.

30 minute job.

You need a new manifold-to-cat fitting kit from Renault. ~£20.
