Decat JanSpeed

Hello!

Does anyone know what the Bore size is of the decat that KTec do?

I have a Janspeed Cat back system and i got a 2.5" decat but it dont quite fit right as my system is 2.25" so its blowing like a f**ker.

any ideas?

cant you go to an exhaust specialist and get them to shape the ends of the decat to fit your pipework ? would save money in a way or am i just talking utter pony ? lol

I could do but i dont know any exhaust specialists and im not sure if it would work!

What Decat does everyone else buy?

Im not sure on what others buy tbh, Leaving mine with a cat for ease but maybe Janspeed will do a decat for your system ? Failing that give ktec a ring im sure they will help even for advice, been good to me they have

How come its blowing? Surely the flangers are the same?, its just the pipe bore thats different ? :S

Different way round but folk often leave cats on and mate them up to full 2.5 stainless systems

correct me if i am wrong but isnt the Ktec system made by janspeed???

anyway Ktec is 2.5" too iirc

Yeah I think KTec's systems are made by Janspeed, but I guess they can still be different bores.

They are made by Janspeed but there 2.25" bore not 2.5" like the decat i brought

i called Ktec today and they said the "standard" Decat is 2.25" bore as well so, ill just get one of these bad boys!
