hi guys, right i'm basically going to get this decat pipe for my 172 2002 model with a magnex cat back on it at the moment. however first i'm thinking about just going to powerflow and getting one custom made.

wont be any different though so i'm thinking about ordering this tonight.

basically what sort of gains will this give me? and also will it put any lights on on the dash? i'm kl that it wont get through an mot as it's no bother to change the cat back in

can get one made for 80 quid from powerflow. might jus go do that

i'd get the powerflow custom made one. I'm not sure if ktec's 172 decat pipes are anything like the 182 conversion length pipes, but I wasnt very impressed by the 182 conversion length pipe.

? iv been searching the for sale section for ages looking for a de-cat and cant find 1?

Will the Powerflow one have just a flat flange or a proper recess cut out for the spring fitting kit inner material to slot in? If it doesnt have the latter, you could run into problems

Id be inclined to stick with a proper built decat from Janspeed, Ktec etc
