Decat Pipe. Worth It?

I've just got a custom exhaust made but was wondering whether it worth getting Decat fitted as well. What are the pro's and con's of doing it?

Pros
Makes the engine more free rev'ing


Cons
Needs to be changed back for MOT
Can invalidate insurance as the car wouldnt pass an MOT
Fail roadside emissions tests which can result in a large fine

Pro's;

1. Noise increase
2. Less restrictive - more power
3. Cheaper than a new CAT!

Cons;

1. Emissions light coming on (in most cases)
2. Not roadworthy, most FC policies do not cover your car if the CAT is removed
3. It will fail it's MOT so will need swapping back in due course (unless you know a friendly tester! )

Its well worth it IMO, as MOT is only once a year.

I guess its because its not that noticeable... no clue
