Decat Question

Having just ordered my RS192 decat exhaust sytem what will happen with the lamda sensor when put into the decat pipe? I take it engine management light will come on and will it run lean? Is there a souloution to this Cheers J.

mine didnt come on at all when i fitted mine to the 172
plus i hink you can switch it off with a simple code reader if i does come on
id recomend a remap with it
if you have the pennies

It varys mate. Sometimes it comes on sometimes it doesn't. Either way there is an ecu fix for it IIRC.

You can clear the fault code but it will probably still come back on. Did in my case anyway years back

Yeah getting my matched inlets put on, exhaust, viper with CAF and then remap
If the light does come on will it run properly?

It'll run fine but most likely throw up a CEL due to a CAT Efficiency error, typically the rear probe is a monitoring probe for the CAT.
