DELL XPS600

Just inherited a Dell XPS 600. Only problem is this has fallen off the mother board. Will i need to get a new mother board? If so what type do i need? Or can this be glued back on? I'm not sure what it is? It sits next to the CPU on the mother board. Cheers for any advice.

Got a picture of the motherboard? Looks like it could be the heatsink for the north bridge.

Sorry picture so bad, i believe it came off between the rectangular grey thing at the top and the graphics card at the bottom.
