i still have had no luck finding a F7R block one bloke wanted £700 for a whole megane engine so that was no good i have tried loads of places but they either have just got rid of one or they just dont have one i am pretty desperate for one so i can sort my car out for the up and coming shows and cruises i know i keep asking but if anyone can help please let me know

There is a breakers down the A5 near Dunstable Bedfordshire, they deal in Renault,Peugot and Citreon. Might be worth a bell. I dont know the number but they always have an ad in the exchange and mart. Good luck.

Ive known for some time that Ive had a little lump sum coming to me this summer and was previously thinking of the BB conversion, throttle bodies etc. Now that Im sat on the cash Im reluctant to go overkill (will be saving for house/new mountain bike) and have been nosing about the F7R bottom end because its cheap extra oomph.

But its really diffcult to find one though. If I find one then Ill take it and want to have the cash ready rather than miss the opportunity - they seem to come up about once every six months on this forum.

Where did you find the Megane 2.0 engine for £700? You thought that too expensive did you?

the top end is no use to me and i have not got the money to buy the whole engine then mess about selling the head
