I'll be doing a lot of cycling shortly, so today was just chilling at home....cleaning my Mum's car.....as you do! The paintwork is a right state, the previous owner must have used a scouring pad to clean it! But anywho....I didn't want to do a massive correction detail as it would take ages, so I thought I'd see what AF's Rejuvenate could do with a DA, as I know it has a bit of cut in it.
Here's what I was faced with:
So after a normal wash outside, once it was dried an put in the garage....this was the challenge....
So then it was time for my first go with Rejuvenate:
I'll let the 50:50 shot do the talking!
So before:
After:
Another panel before:
After:
Another before:
After:
The one side done...
Then it was time for some AF Tripple.....partly because I hadn't used it before...but mainly as this is only my Mums car, I couldn't be assed doing a full wax or sealant layer...so this was a VERY quick but effective alternative.
I applied some AG Bumper Care, as I didn't want to use up my Gtechniq C4!
Tripple buffed off....nice and shiny!
And the result....unfortunately the sun went in as I finished....but it did look damn good in the sun I have to say!
NOTE: I know there are still quite a few marks in the after shots, but those are mega deep, and proper scratches....not just the average swirl marks. I wasn't really bothered about getting those out, just most of the major ones, which I think you'll agree...Rejuvenate did a great job of doing. I really didn't think it was have that much cut to be honest.
Also, in the fiddly parts, I just switched to a pad and applied by hand and STILL got great results. So you really don't need a DA to get good results from this at all.
So Rejuvenate and Trippple a really effective and pretty quick duo in my book. Cheers AF!
