I work on building sites and they are pretty popular, you see them covered in plaster and allsorts. They are pretty much bulletproof.

i have got the makita version..our chippy has the dewalt radio it is quality it got kicked of the scaff but it lived on..

Dont know i use a 6 quid wind up jobbie from Tesco! not too much to lose if some chav nicks it.

they are good, but like big dave said if it gets nicked its a bummer,

however you can charge an extra battery on them, eprfect if your using your drill, circ. saw, torch etc all at once and your running out of chargers!

worth buying if theres no risk of it getting nicked, just buy a £5 lock aswell and make sure you always lock it to some scaffolding or something then you'll be sound

dont know about drills but i've got a dewalt 1/2 impact gun i use day in day out and have done for about 6 months now and its great, been knocked off ramps run over god knows what and it just wont die!

we use panasonic,hilti,dewalt and kango the paslode guns are good to..

i find the makita drills f**k up all the time!! but the plaster board screw guns are very handy!!

The plasterers we had in a few weeks ago had one of those, it was caked in shite and looked like it'd been kicked to f**k on a regular basis, they threw it in the back of the van like it was junk, still worked well and sounded good. They seem to be tough as buggery.
