Diag computer CLIP vs GENERIC

I want to get my own diag computer to delete my airbag from tne ecu. Not just delete the fault code but the airbag itself. My question is can i do this with a generic diag setup or will i need the renault clip? the generic looks better as cheaper and can be used on all sorts of cars and trucks.

I have had the clio on the local garages comp and states that my prob is Drivers side airbag short circuit. I have replaced all connectors and have put resistors on seats and steering wheel but the light still remains!!

Our Snap on diag won't recode ecu's.

Which is why I invested in CLiP about a year ago.

My next question, can you trust CLiP sent from Hong Kong on Ebay? Are they the real thing?

I wouldn't trust it personally. They're counterfeit. If you don't know what your doing you can do ALOT of damage.
