Mk1 Ph1 1.4 Sport
Hi all,
I have a 2000 Clio 1.4S, I think my head gasket is pretty much buggered but I'm no expert so am hoping you guys can help?
Issues are;
-Sounds like a tractor
-Loss of power
-Juddering on idle
-Rough acceleration
-Coolant is going quickly and is leaving a gunky substance at the bottom of the reservoir
Checked the oil and it is fine.
If it is the head gasket what would you say I should replace? Iv been told by a friend that I should do the following as one big job;
-head gasket
-head skimmed
-head bolts
-water pump
-cambelt change
Anyone shed some light on the situation for me?
