Dialogys software

I received my software today cheers Dave, im having a couple of problems getting it to work, i uninstalled acrobat, jave, and quick time and installed the versions off the setup disk.

I also clicked the custom option in quick time and select all.

I installed the data off the 1st disk which installed 1-13 of 30 then stopped the second disk seemed to do the same.

When i clcik the link on the desktop a blamk white screen appears and doesnt do anything.

Does anyone have an idea?

Go into the directory where you installed it (C:/Program Files/Dialogys ?) and double click the dialogys.bat file instead.

Dialogys was intended for the apmac - on anything else it is awkward to use and v slow

Got it working now, doesnt seem slow tho Matt bit of a pain to use tho!!

What do you mean by apmac??? Apple Mac??? I am a Mac user, have both G4 and G5, will the dialogy work there??? Or got to find out my old Power PC 8500???

Think its designed to run on a G4 though i'm not sure.
The disks have both the mac installer and the windows installer on them so I imagine its just a matter of installing the mac version and away you go, not sure though having never owned a mac.

The reason you need the old versions it because its been bodged onto windows and has specific requirements that it needs to run it.

I've always have the run dialogys.bat, the shortcut has never worked for me on several different pcs.

I got it working simply by going into programs>dialogys>Data> then i clicked on dialogys MS-DOS batch file and it popped up all working. no idea if its the same in mac i expect not!!!

^^you cant, just stick a short cut of the file on the destop.
