I am sending this e-mail hoping that you may take some time to answer a few
questions for me regarding our proposal to purchase a set of 2wd 400 bhp
fully portable rolling road. The rollers and info can be found at

Have you had your car tested on a rolling road?

Have you been to a rolling road shoot out day?

What were your impressions of the shoot out day and arrangements?

Would you have your car power tested on a set of rollers?

Would you have tuning work carried out to your engine on a set of rollers?

Would you run your car on the rollers at a shoot out day?


Currently we have only a ball park idea of cost for test, tuning,
development and shoot out days and once again your views on price will be
taken note of. We are looking at approx £35.00 to £40.00 per test and £30.00
per half hour after. Shoot out days will depend on the amount of cars booked
but again I estimate the cost to be between £20.00 to £30.00 per car.

We are aiming to provide a top level of service and proffessionalism and
any comments and suggestions you have will be of most value.

P.S. If you do not have your Renault any longer and do not wish to recieve
any notices like this from us please let me know.

Good overall, to long a wait between runs.

I wouldnt run my 16v but when the GTT lump is in yes



All i can say is as long as you have a decent cooling fan and that the RR doesnt require bouncin off the rev limiter to get a power reading then Those prices are reasonable. Only say that as at FCS the portable one were takin cars up to the limit with no cooling and i know of at least one car they roasted

The dynapack is the best and most accurate way to conclude power this side of taking the engine out.

The idea is that the cars hubs are bolted to the dynapack, taking tyre pressure out of the equasion. Accurate results can be produced time and time again.
