Did I mention........

Car  172 cup
that I love the cup, despite all the unexpected expense I love it.

Its so different going from driving a 1.2 to a 172 cup, I only have to move my foot slightly and whoooooooosh.

Only thing is I havnt had chance to have a proper drive out in daylight yet, also want to give her a good clean/detail at the weekend and take some pics.

Oh Im also waiting for some chav or corsa driver to try and race me LOL

I am a chav, I drive a P1 can I race ya?

you might have a hole in your airbox

Behave yorself Laura and enjoy.

Whoooosh is such a girl thing to say!

i raced a 172 cup in my old 1.2 back in the day, i beat it cus the donkey stalled at the traffic lights, hope you dont make urself look silly.

its such a great feeling going from a small car to a big one, i went from a 1L 1994 polo to a clio 200 :D

It's much more interesting going the other way.

Out of a Impreza STi into a Shogun - First time you forget you're in a lardy $hite handling 4x4 is "interesting" :clown:

It's more fun letting the 1.2's etc beat you. They go home thinking their car is special and that they are a hero and you go home with a clean license, knowing you made someone feel proud and impressed with their new, higher powered 1.23 Corsa/Micra etc...

"...must have an induction kit or summit!?"

You think that's a big step-up, I went from a 125cc scooter to an Impreza ffs.

I've still to see pictures of your Impreza yet Jamie :rasp: lol.

As for the Cup, the 1st 2 months or so the car feels really quick but that feeling does wear off unfortunately when you get use to it. Still an enjoyable drive when you're in the mood and you find a good road to take it on.

lol. I used to think they were fast...But in the grand scale of things. There "nippy"

Didn't know you were buying a Cup Laura, new job?

Enjoy!

Wait til the summer, you'll soon start moaning about no aircon ;)

Ah i loved that feeling drive a 1.2 to the garage trade it in come away in a 172...bonus over take your dad who drives a rover lol

Please tell me this is taking the piss out of the other thread.

Glad you like your new car anyway, everything sorted on it now?

I've got used to the power now. They pull well for a small car tbh.

They don't feel much quicker at low revs than a 1.2 however thats probably because i've forgotten how slow a 1.2 is. Over 3K they start to pull ok.
