Did they sell the 172 cup outside of the uk?

Can anyone help me?! I am buying a 172 cup and i found out this morning that it was apparently imported from Germany. Did they even sell them in Germany from new?

This is causing me so many problems with financing the car! Any help would be great!!!

They did, but it wasn't called the Cup and there were subtle differences.

Yours sounds like a UK spec import though, so it wouldn't have the alarm or the locking nuts.

Thanks mate............I have just found out that it is a UK car but it went to the nurberg ring and had a servive once!!!!! It does have the alarm and locking wheel nuts!!

Well they did sell Trophies in switzerland, this was the only other contry bar ourselfs that got the trophy
