Didnt like the black - Bmw Sparkling Graphite (182 wheels) oh and...

So my Turinis are off the car ready to be refurbed

my cup-packed 182 wheels were a little rough looking but i needed to use them temporarily! so as a quick fix i sprayed them up matte/satin black..

But i didnt really like them! used them like this for a few days.. til today, had the day off work and got bored, so ive sprayed them again..

Bmw Sparkling Graphite! Such a lovely colour :y:

Got some many complaints about the red calipers (Previous owner) and they looked a little tatty.. so ive painted them

Looks nice behind the shiney new wheel colour!

And also above you can see my mirror caps are missing.. was giving them a coat of lacquer

As it stands i only had time to do 2 of the wheels, so the fronts are sparkly graphite and the rears are still matte black
Will finish the other off after work tomorrow

*Awaits needs lows, tyre shine, spacers, remove strips yada yada*

I've got that colour kicking around on my track clio. Sooooo easy to get away with a non perfect finish IMO. Still looks bloody awesome!

I wasnt sure at first, looked abit dark, but as its dried its gone really shiney!

Rattlecan off the shelf from halfrauds "BMW Sparkling graphite" - £7-8 a can

only doing light coats so ive bought 2 cans, 2/3rds of one can on the two front wheels

Doing the rear wheels in the next hour or so

Caps are in my hand being prepped for paint at the mo

182 wheels have grown on me so much, i think i might sell my turinis and stay OEM+

I Really like the gold calipers, my rear calipers are standard colour, should i paint them gold too? Opinions?

Love the gold calipers, been looking to do this with my monaco but not really had the weather and now im back at uni for three weeks, but i think ill be doing it, what colour is it specifically? do the rears too!

The gold is just a tin of Hammerite Smooth Gold - £8 from wilkinsons and brush painted on

I decided not to do the rears as the calipers are so small, its hard to see em behind the 182 wheels anyway

Might do em when i get my turinis done, if i go back to turinis! still undecided!
