Diesel help needed URGENT

My diesel has started to pour white smoke out of the exhaust yesterday morning and it has got worse, now the first thing that came to mind, was the head, or head gasket has gone, but im not that shure of this. As the engine temp is normal, oil level is as normal, water level normal, the car runs compleatly as normal, and there is no gunk on the cap on the haed, dose anyone have any idea what it is? is it the head or something els?

Any bubbles in the header tank? Get a compression test done if its making you think headgasket.

yes, the top of the header thank dose ffroth up, ill have to get it chaked asap i think

dose anyone think that water in the diesel would cause a lot of white smoke? like if the head gasket was gone?

Sounds like the head gasket. White is water vapour.

Take off the water cap, ask someone to start up the engine, watch for anymovement of the water, if it starts to move, .... HG

hmmm, ok ill try when i have a chance, it just puzzles me that the temp and everything els seems to be ok...

True, are the heaters working fine? It could be just the first signs?

thats what a guy at work said, i used the heaters on the screen on the way from work and they were ok i think, ill have to check again tho
