diesel preheating/electronic fault warning light

sister just came round in her clio (52 regd 1.2 16v)

when driving, its not pulling at all.. powers dead.

and the light is on the dash that has a square with a zig zag in, then a coil underneath it

its the diesel pre heating light / electronic system warning light


any ideas what it could be??
its on about 20k miles

I'd take a shot at coil packs, the D4F eats them though I'm not 100% sure of the symptoms, I'm sure someone can give a difinitive answer.

the lights gone off now and its driving ok?!

£50 for coil pack, mine was missfiring when idleing but was pulling fine, there may be other signs of it going too though
