diesel sound from 182

why does my 182 sounds like a new diesel while on idel? i looked a few threads and im thinking? dephaser? wondered what others thought? and could this cause damage if not fix soon?

Yup sounds like the dephaser pulley I'm afraid. When where the belts last done?

cam and timing done 15k ago, i there anyway of testing this part before spending £££'s and its not it? could i just put up with it?
