Nah its a DCi80 with a body kit and a few stickers

Pretty good looking body kit! And we all have heard that stickers=horsepower. This is proof! I think the car is 73rd on the grid.

Its a 1.9 diesel 4 pot from the laguna tuned to 220hp and 40kg/m (about 300lb) of torque. Its based on the 3litres clio with rear wheel drive.

Looks like it is 75th on the grid. The Alfa 147JTD is 55th!

They are in pretty fast company.

Class id love one of them and youd still be able to run her on the red for £10 a week

Im not sure u could run it for £10 not if its putting out that much soot.

The engine must be right at its limit of power as soot occures when to much fuel if supplied to the engine and it cannot burn properly.

Why dont they drop the 3 litre vel satis engine in there and then modify that then they could have a real animal.

470lb torque and 340 hp wow

why dont renault give us a more powerful diesel like that though.

O ye because we would win races against all the 1.4 and 1.6 clios and maybe keep with a 172. Renault needs some more powerful petrols before we can get some more powerful diesels
