difference in quality of springs



  Clio II and Grand Modus


yep..........handling wise. and not all springs are progressive. Cheap/low quality springs will make your car bounce. Think K-tec ones are Apex, but don´t know the p.i.´s. Had Eibach myself before I got me some coilovers:D

ive been reccomended PI springs,

Fred used to have em on his car, and now they are in Chris clio.

they are brilliant.

I have just got myself a set and shud be puttign them in asap.

have p.i at the moment and they are fine (only been on 200 miles!) just wish i had put on -60mm in the first place.

ideally id want -50mm all round but i doubt u can get them

If you want better handling + less bodyroll get the eibachs.

If you want to lower 30mm + then your ride quality is gonna suffer.

I cannot belive thats a 30 mm drop mine stock is lower than that I think you need to let the springs settle down first a few thousand should help no end.

its looks lower on the other side for some reason (around 5-10mm),anyone know why? they were fitted by a professional.
