Different rear number plate locations

Hi everyone just a quick question, as you can see from the title.

I was just wandering why different MK2 Clio’s have different spots for the real number plate.
And if it means anything

mine is located on the bumper right at the bottom, where as I’ve seen a lot others on the boot lid

Yours will be a Campus I assume mate (2006 onwards IIRC) - part of the changes of that facelift moved the numberplate into the rear bumper instead of being on the boot lid like earlier versions of the mk2 shape.

I thought that might of been the case.
I forgot to mention I have a campus sport, nothing special but loving it for my first car
