Digital SLR Gurus: Help with CF memory speeds.

Hiya,

I've just got myself an EOS 350D.

There are different types / speeds of CF memory.

The faster the memory.. the faster the write-speed.


But, the camera has a buffer... so does it matter ?

What's the maximum speed, that's worth going for (ie at which point does it not get any faster, for my camers in particular).

the buffer will only take so many shots but how fast you clear the buffer is important. sandisc extreme 3 are the fastest with the ultra2 the next best thing.
