Dim Radio Display

Hi my Radio light is extremely Dim, cannot see anything at night time so im unable to tell whether or not im listening to Magic or Heart or what CD! is this a simple job of just replacing the bulb? and if so is this asy to do myself? has anyone else had this problem?

Isnt it linked to the dash dimmer switch down by your right knee when you're sat in the drivers seat?

I think he means the bulbs starting to go, as mine is currently half and half with one side dull and the other bright.

I tried this however it only appears to Dim the Dash lighting, during the day time you can see it just at night its impossible. the Bulb must be on its way out so just curious to know if its easy to change?

have to take the dash off to get to it! Not the hardest job to do but a pain in the ass for two bulbs!

No the full top part (see the thread above there is a guide on how to remove it)

There are two bulbs btw, I got mine from halfords, got a spare in the car as mine kept going. I'll get the part number and post it up tomorrow if I remember.

managed to get the radio display sorted, wasnt to hard at all to take teh dash off, more than impressed with the result, its so bright lol. thanks for all the replies and help.
