Display card options

I'm looking to buy a new video card for my PC, i've got some prices and spec's together and i can't choose between the following,


2 x GeForce 7600GT Card Fatal1ty 256Mb (in SLI)
or
2x nVidia GeForce 8500 GT 512MB (in SLI)
or
a single geforce 8600GTS 256Mb

What does anyone think?

^definatelty worth the extra £50, will last you a lot longer than the cards you've shortlisted. The x1950 is also a good bet, but its not as futureproof, not being DX10

i run 8800 gts, awesome card.

i dont drop below 100fps on a 40 man server on counterstrike.

200+fps on 10 man server

2nd vote for 8800gts.. awesome card. Handles everything I have thrown at it anyway.

no point getting 2 cheap card to SLI, just get a 8800 gt/gts
