Do 172 Cups have headlamp washers ?

I'm thinking about a 172 Cup, but want Xenon lamps (and Recaro's). Did the 172 come with washers, or are they simple to retro fit ?

cups didnt have them, and if you got a cup and fit them ill slap you

Xenon lamps wan't pass an MOT without washers, hence my question.

lol im big enough, defeats the point of having a cup, if ure guna fit recaros and xenons each to there own tho, would it not be easier to buy a ff 172?

Possibly, but FF's don't come with Recaro seats (Trendlines), and there's a lot more to choose from if I look at Cups too. Also, what with them being poverty spec to start with it'd probably be cheaper to buy a Cup, change the parts, keep the originals and put the car back to standard when I sell it. If the washers are a pain to fit then it's probably more hassle than it's worth

not worth it, plus the standad lights are better imo, remember that xenons are dipped beam only.

the lamp units are plug and play mind.

washers took me all of an hour to do, and I had to drill the holes which are already there on the cup

just keep your original lights for MOT time, then have the xenons fitted all the rest of the year...

i always thought the washer idea was an iffy area regarding the mot in this case. yes factory fit xenons must have washers but i think add/aftermarket ones is a grey area if they need them or not. although they would be a renault system they are not factory spec on a cup so not factory fit. i would fit the self level system however. gonna do this to my cup when i get a minute.
