Do I get a prize

My 182 decided to greet me back from holiday in its own special way today......

The exhaust is knackered, no not just a vibrating middle heatshield.

But a proper exhaust blow!

So at just under 2.5months old, I think thats pretty poor going.

I was gonna get an aftermarket exhaust, but I might as well get this one repaired under warranty first tho? Then take it off?

Reno did a replacement sports stainless steel exhaust as an option for the Mk1 V6.....................they might do the same for the 182

Just cant believe that 2.5months is all it takes!!

Mind you it has done 8,300 miles almost.

So how would I notice if this happens to mine? Is it easy to notice like a seriously loud noise or what?

its a vibrating/blowing noise from the center section.

Yeah, this is a deffo blow and not just vibration

Oh, well didnt spend as much as I planned in the US, so ProSpeed or K-Tech thats the choice

Might as well get it replaced so that when I sell the car.

Off to see Renault Solihull at lunch time so they have have a quick look and see what it needs booking in for.

Ive got a funny feeling it may be engine mount related, and so engine is causing exhaust to move about too much [:errr:]
