Do i have the strut problem?

Have recently noticed that when doing low speed moves (under 10mph) the front suspension is making noise. On full lock i get a glassy feeling through the steering...almost like the car is understeering, yet clearly isn't as i'm doing 5mph!

Sounds like when I had my top mount problem .. something to do with the shims (sp) ?
