Just tried to put them and they are rubbing against something on the inside.

For them to fit, no.
If you fit RS wings you'll need spacers for them to look any good.

Any reason why they rub on the inside?

Mine rub on the rear arch liners, the fronts aren't that far away from the struts either. Probably going to get spacers all round to sort it.

Can hear rubbing from the rears when I'm going around roundabouts some probably spacers all round for me too!

Lowered yes, not lowered, should just be able to get away with it, although doubtful.

FK spacers are your best bet for you budget mate.
