Do rear braided hoses replace existing hose or run alongside?

I've managed to undo the rear brake hoses but I now can't see any way of removing them and refitting the Goodridge items.

Do they simply cable tie to the originals or are the originals removeable?

Any ideas Tom as they seem to be crimped around the ends to hold them in place.

Wrong ones, the braided ones do from the bodywork to the axle, not the ones at the caliper end, they stay as the original green/black flexi stuff.

Borrowed from DrRollo's thread.

The plate on the left and right of the image is where the hoses are secured but I can't seem to find any nut or thread to remove them.

They're the one's I have undo BMH but do they stay in situ with the braided hoses cable tied in place (not safe IMO) or can the Goodridge's be fitted in place?

no, just undo the 11mm unions, slide them back out of the way and just pull one end of the line out at a time, easy peasy, watch your eyes though!

11mm unions undone Fred and the copper pipes are out but the rubber hoses seem to be stuck almost as if they are permanent.

I' have a bit of movement in one so I'm guessing I just need to carrying on wiggling until they are free. They appear to have teeth cut into the union where they run through the securing plate. I assume this is what holds them in place.
