Dodgy rear lights

Hey guys ever since i got my clio the fog light came on, on the dashbord when i pressed the brakes, this progressed into the indicators lighting up which in turn stopped the indicators working when i put them on and braked, nightmare on round abouts,

ive had the lights out and rubbed the connections with a wire brush and all the metal where the bulbs go with no luck

anyone any suggestions?

its the earth connection, i had this with my car not long back and a mate checked the wires and came back saying it was the earth or some thing.
Problem was solved when i got it back.

where abouts are the earths located on the clio?

my car is currently in the garage, an earth touched a positive making my rear lights come on when i taped my brake... my wiring loom for my lights had melted, new loom ,,, fun fun just check you loom if not like above check all your earths

lol this is the exact story of mine,

fog, then indicator, then no idicator whislt breaking,

i just jiggled the connection and it stopped,
but sound like u may have to slice of the conector and wire a new one on

i've got the exact same problem. rubbed all the connections down and they still do it. my boot 'spoiler' looks condensated though...could it be that maybe? pissing me right off tbh!
