For the time being my 476s/ Onyx combo is doing great so no real need to move over yet, and don't really think buying the DW is worth it seeing as I think I prefer the Onyx finish. I might be interested in the hard wax alone buy you can't buy that by itself yet, gash!

Sorry to hijack the thread but is the 467s hard to apply and remove? Is its finish any good?

Yeah the Zaino shots I have seen really seem to bring out a nice crystal-like finish to the paint, the metallic flake really pops out. Would like to try that too!

I love the look of it but can't be arsed with the whole process, Banging on a coat of carnuba is easy,

It's easy mate just make sure its nice and thin, and don't apply in the cold as it sets solid if you leave it too long. Leaves a great glossy finish but marginally mutes any metallic flake. More of a winter wax really although would still be fine in summer too.

Defo preferring the look of the Swissvax, is a step up from the normal Dod range though.

They are only sold as the pair, they have not officially said they well sell them separately.

You could always just buy one of the normal range hard waxes ?

Most of it has Jeffs AJT and Titanium that it has been wearing since last September time, just topped with a spray wax when washed every 4-6 weeks !

One front wing and half the bonnet now have Dodo Double Wax on them, looks nothing special (Silver!) but will report back on durability.

Yeah might have to give it a whirl...I am starting to notice all things in my life can be detailed though, cleaned and conditioned my Mont Blanc wallet and used some QD on my phone as it looked like something had pleasured itself over it. I suspect it was my lamp, although I do love lamp.

It is surprising how many people actually comment on it, even if they don't know what make it is they say its a nice wallet. After over 2 years still looks mint.

Could not resist trying to sort out what the paint lacked with the Dodo alone today so wacked on a coat of Swissvax Saphir over the top as the weather was ok.

So I am guessing overall not a huge fan of the Double Wax then...I think I will stick with the Onyx but maybe get the Megs 16 at some point.

Will get some on the whole of the 306 and see how it holds up. On looks alone not sold on it.
