does a cabasse radio fit a non RS?

will a cabasse headunit be compatible withe a 2002 dynamique? the stereo im lookin to get is from an 05 182. i know i could always pul out my own init and see if the connectors etc are the same but this would save time

as far as i know yes it will, remember you'll need the code for it

Yes it will work.

BUT make sure its of the same type as yours...

SO if yours is Tuner List...get a Tuner List one.
and same for Update List....get an Update List HU.

Cant remember off the top of my head but the Tuner List ones are the older ones and the Update List are the new CANbus ones.

So just watch out as they wont work if you swap those around.

i assume the tuner and update list ones have different connectors or somethin?
can i ask if there is much noticable difference or any extra features such as aux outputs in the cabasse compared to the standard tunerlist stereo

The connectors are the same

2 x ISO blocks (Power + Speakers)
2 x Mini ISO blocks (CD Changer + Stalk Adaptor)

The later one (Update list) has another smaller connector which is the AUX conn.


The newer CAN setup just wont work with the earlier cars. There is a noticable sound difference. Think the standard ones were 22w and the Cabasse ones are 44w.

I put one in my old 2001 Dynamique and i gained the iTraffic and INews features also.

PM me if you need more info, i can also get hold of Cabasse Units.
