Does anyone on here know about C.V joints on the Wheels?

Today i took my MK2 172 to Micheldever Tyres to have the two front tyres changed.
As i was leaving one the tyre fitters said something about my C.V joint on the drivers side being nackered:dapprove: and that ment that grease was coming out everytime i went round a corner.

So i went straight back to Renault where i got the car from and they had a look, changed the part and filled up back up with grease

My question is will the other one need replacing too [nearside wheel] aswell she's now on 53,500 Miles or should i just forget about untill her 54K service.

I'd not expect so its just bad luck my WIlliam had about 5 on the drivers side doing the passenger side wan't an issue in 10 year.

I had no idea there was something wrong, good job i changed my tyres today.
