Does engine sound ok? & Code reader

  Clio 182
Alright guys,

Had posted this before but no responses after bumping, so thought I'd repost. Just wasn't too sure if there was a fault with me engine or if its just running a bit rough?, sound really quiet on cold start, but after going for a drive it sounds like this:

Also looking to buy a code reader as I have emmisons light on, is this one from eBay the same as the Ktec racing one?

Also does anyone have diagrams/pics of where both o2 sensors are? as I am going to swap them over to see if light goes off.

Cheers
Steven

Sounds like your Dephaser is on the way out, don't hold me to that though. Basically the engine starts to sound like a diesel as it gets worse.
Have a search for Dephaser on here and on youtube to see some vids.

Haven't got any pics of the O2 sensors mate but they're pretty easy to spot, one should be on your Cat if you have one and the other further forward towards the engine. Basically the only thing that is bolted onto the exhaust with a wire coming from them.

Thanks for replies, Im up in Edinburgh - any reccomendations of specialists nearby?

Ive had a look at other videos regarding dephasers, and these all sound much worse than mine and also seem to get louder when reving, but the noises coming from mine are only noticable on idle - and tbh seems to be coming more from the head than down the left hand side,

what are expected costs for dephaser replacement? Ive only had the car for about 5-6weeks and when I got it I had the timing belt changed so presuming this won't need to be re-done? Also Ive got a 12month warranty from Warranties2000, do you think this may cover dephaser? (or am I being too hopefull :p)
