Does my car have a dephaser

Ringing round for some prices for cambelt change etc. inc. dephaser and one garage (renault specialist) said some early ones don't have a dephaser, is this correct? If so how would I know on my car?

I know this ain't the place to ask Fred but i'm at work so here goes.. how much for cambelt inc. tensioners etc. and dephaser? I'll make the journey down seeing as I can't rely on local places...

I can take a wild guess at the garage in mention, only renault specialist around the teesside area i think is Mendall Motors, am i right?
