There not expensive about 7 or 8£ as you say, it's just a track car really but need it to be road legal to drive to the track so looks ain't massively important, just like trying to make things before buying a new part im weird like that!

Mine was intermittent too so I disconnected it and files down the two prong terminals as they had a layer of awful on them. Worked perfectly afterwards!

Also wet sanded the plastic and it came up really well. Just a heads up in case you decide to go back to standard matey.

I replaced mine because it was dirty and full of grime etc. new one took about 2 weeks to look exactly the same :(

Mine broke so I spent £7 on a new one, that then broke so I just left it. When a car is following with lights on at night they will see it, it doesn't really need to work.

Seriously?

I had to re-read the OP text twice to realise what you were on about. Stood 10ft from the car and gun to my head, I'm pretty sure I would have NEVER seen that after 30+ attempts!

For the record, it look ok - but the standard one is better.

Why is there a gun to your head in this scenario?

Because huge bodykits, unusual wheels, lairy decals would stand out a mile and could be discussed as tacky or not. If my life depended on it - I couldn't tell you what would have changed on the car the OP mentioned - the change was that small.

That's what I was getting at.
