Dog bone Gearbox mount

I had the classic symptoms for a worn dog bone(rocking back and forth of the gear leaver) so I changed the dog bone mount for the one from andyspares(£11). It hasnt made any difference at all!

Could it be that its the other mounts are worn and are causing the movement in the engine and would they cause the back and forward movements of the gear stick?

Possibly I changed mine as you did and it made it loads better. They still have a bit of movement though!!

So has mine. The mount is only worn if it comes out off gear when backing off accerating IMO.

Phase 1s are more prone to it cause the p2s has flexible mounts i think.

so is the dogbone mount the gearbox mount ??

cuz i think mine is going/gone because it shakes when slowly pulling off from standstill
