dog bone mount repair?

hi. after reading on here about noises from worn dog bone engine mounts, i think mine has gone.
when i pull away it clunks and feel some backward movement from engine/steering components and same when braking to stand still but movement is forward in this case.
also noticed a sort of grinding/rubbing from front passeneger wheel when goin up multi storey car park on the inclines while turning.
also maybe top mounts as well as dog bone mount/battery mount????

if so where is cheapest place for all these if needed?

sounds like top mounts aswell as dog bone.

k-tec for the uprated dog mount kit and renault for the rest of the mounts. set you back £150-£200 total

how hard is it to fit a dog bone when i get one? im gettin my top mounts done at nat tyres cos only place convenient for me when at work. but if they do dog bone they will supply their own and probably sting me for it.

easy mate,if u can get it up on a ramp even better,simply un bolts and u bolt the new one in,only one bolt each end,did mine in literally 2 mins

all 3 are £300 + ???!??!?
what mileage is yours on mate (ph1 172) ?

ah good cant fault nicks work mate!

iv replaced two so far,i got the dogbone off nick (a modded one which is well nice) and the o/s top one that bolts to the inner wing-this can only be bought from renault ans i managed to get it for 53 quid with my trade discount,only got the box/battery tray one left to do which il be getting from ren too,shouldnt come quite to that much matey but mines on 102k now and i havent any reciepts for any in my s/h so i assume they all the originals which means they last pretty well lol

yeah im on 87 or 88 i think and mine havent been done.
think i'll get dog bone first then do other two if noise doesnt go.
just need someone in northwest to fit em cos im about as much use with a spanner as stephen hawking's football boots.

Does anyone know how much a standard dogbone mount is from Renault, i need to change mine.

172 mk1 dogbone mount is approx 75 quid now

mk2 is still £33 odd.

How much is Nicks "modified" dog bone, and how is it modified? Does it just have powerflex bushes in it?

dunno but its £57 inc VAT from Hillpower.
dunno how its modified but im havin one of them, not paying the stealers.
